After that, visit key attractions in New and Old Dhaka the whole day, including outside the National Assembly Building, Dhakeshwari Temple, Lalbagh Fort, Star Mosque, and Armenian Church. Walk on Hindu Street, the centre of Hindu culture and community in Old Dhaka, full of jewellery shops, local musical instrument shops, Hindu bridal shops, kite shops, cookery shops, temples, rickshaws, and people. Embark on a traditional Bangladeshi passenger ferry in the afternoon and rest. Visit Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace) in the late afternoon. their lifestyle, where they primarily work as daily labourers in the tea estates. Also, visit a handicraft market of the Manipuri tribe, the most prosperous among all the tribes in

Sreemangal. They are famous for making handicrafts. After dinner, taste the famous 7 Layers Tea of Sreemangal.

Day-3: Tribal Villages; Manipuri Market

Start at 09.00 after breakfast, and a scenic drive (1h30 min) through the tea plantations to a remote village of the Khasi tribe in an old 4x4 vehicle. This village is so remote, people from here hardly ever go to even the nearest town! You'll visit their houses, listen to the challenges they face every day, and visit their school, which we support by bringing study materials on our tours. Drive back toward Sreemangal and visit another remote village of the Tripura tribe on the way, whose primary source of income is growing lime and pineapple. Back to the resort in the evening.

In the morning, go for a rewarding wildlife trek through the Lawachara National Park in search of the endangered Hoolock Gibbons, for which this forest is famous. After the launch, visit another beautiful tea estate and see the tea deposit activities (if available). Workers stand in a queue, weigh the tea leaves they've collected during the day, and deposit them in the trucks in the afternoon, which is photogenic. Visit a colony of tea workers afterwards and experience their lifestyle. Take a train to Chittagong at 1:00 PM and arrive around 7:00 PM.

Day 5: WWII Cemetery – Salt Factories – Ship Breaking Yard – Return to Dhaka

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the World War II Cemetery, a serene and historically significant site commemorating the Allied soldiers who lost their lives during the Second World War. Following the cemetery visit, proceed to explore several local salt factories, where you will have the opportunity to observe traditional salt production methods. Next, embark on a one-hour drive to reach the ship-breaking yard, one of the largest of its kind in the world. Here, witness the immense scale and manual labor involved in dismantling decommissioned ships. This visit will be conducted from a safe distance aboard a motorised engine boat. Drive 80 km (2.5) to Chittagong to take an evening flight to Dhaka.

Day 06: Sonargon - Garment Factory Tour

After breakfast, drive to Sonargaon, located approximately 35 kilometres to the southeast (about a 1.5-hour drive, depending on traffic conditions). Historically recognised as the ancient capital of eastern Bengal, Sonargaon served as a thriving administrative and commercial hub. Visit to the Goaldi Mosque, a rare surviving example of pre-Mughal architecture dating back to the 16th century. Continue to the Folk Art and Craft Museum, housed in the restored Sardar Bari, a stately mansion showcasing traditional Bangladeshi arts, crafts, and textiles. The museum offers a vivid display of the country’s cultural richness and artisan legacy. Next, proceed to Panam Nagar, the remarkable abandoned city once inhabited by wealthy Hindu cotton merchants in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Stroll through these historic urban settlements, characterised by their narrow streets and rows of elegant colonial-style mansions. These structures, now in ruins, reflect the opulence of a bygone era and are a photographer’s paradise. In the afternoon, proceed to a garment factory—an integral part of Bangladesh’s economy and global textile supply chain. Take a guided tour of the facility to witness various stages of garment production, including dyeing, spinning, cutting, stitching, and quality control. You’ll observe how thousands of workers, mostly women, operate in synchronised precision to meet international fashion demands. Return to Dhaka in the late afternoon.
